Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA EXamination

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institution

There is no percentage required for this examination

Age Limit

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years

There is no age relaxation for this examination

Nationality

Candidates should be a citizen of India

Marital Status

Candidate should be a citizen of India

* The standards set by the Indian Navy for applying any of its post is the toughest.

* And, as per your request, i would list you the physical and medical fitness requirements to apply for the post of Navy official,

* Your eye sight should be 6 on 6 with no color blindness found.

* The minimum height that is considered is 167 cm.

* The chest should be 77 cm in normal mode and 82 cm in expanding mode.

* The average minimum weight of the person should be 50 kg and not less than that.

* These are the most important standards that are considered during the selection.

There are two entrance exams through which you will able to get jobs in Indian Navy. These are through :
· National Defense Academy.
· Combined Defense Services.

Eligibility requirements for Indian Navy in NDA Exam

Educational qualification:
· Your minimum educational qualification should be Inter pass out with science discipline from recognized university/board.
· Your subjects in Science stream should be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age:
· Your minimum when you will apply for this exam should be 16.5 years.
· Your age should not be above 19 years.

Eligibility details for Indian Naval Academy in CDS Exam

Educational qualification:
· Your minimum educational qualification should be Graduation pass out with science stream.
· Your Honors paper in science stream should be Physics/Mathematics.
· If you have a 4 years bachelor engineering degree then also you can apply for this exam.

Age:
· Your minimum age should be 19 years.
· Your age should not be above 24 years.

Physical Requirement details for Indian Navy

· Your minimum Height should be 5 feet and 7 inches.
· Your minimum chest should be 33 inches when unexpanded.
· Your chest should be 34.5 inches when expanded.

After meeting these physical requirements you will have to get pass in Physical Entrance Test.This test will include various activities:
· 800 meters of race and it should be completed in 5 minutes.
· Long Jump of 3.5 meters.
· High Jump of minimum 10 meters.

Entrance Exam Syllabus: This exam will include questions from three sections. These are as follows:
1. General Section: Reasoning, English Grammar and General Knowledge.
2. Physical Science: Physics and Chemistry.
3. Mathematics.

Educational qualification
Candidates who wish to apply for Merchant Navy must have 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Physical test
There is a medical fitness test for sea service under standard norms and with eyesight 6/6 with no color blindness.

Candidate should complete the 12th standard for recognized state board.

Candidate should not required the percentage for this exam.

PCM subjects compulsory for the Navy & Air force exams.

Only unmarried male candidates eligible.

Indian Military Academy: your age Should Between 19 - 24 years.

Officer's Training Academy: your age Should Between 19 - 23 years.

hello , my age is 17, height is 152cm, qualification is 12th (NM-science)
is there any possible chance in NAVY? Entrance test is already cleared.
