Re: What is the procedure followed to become mechanical engineer after finishing 10th?
Sorry, you are not eligible to pursue the engineering courses after the 10th.
Since the required eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed 12th from the recognised board with the PCM as main subject in the board examiantion. So to get the admission in the government colleges you need to qualify in the JEE examination. |

Re: What is the procedure followed to become mechanical engineer after finishing 10th?
It is good that you have decided upon what you want to be in the future. So, only thing that is pending now is to reach your goal by choosing the proper route.
Mechanical Engineering is a ever green course in B.Tech. The candidates will always have job opportunities in this field irrespective of outside market. Infact, experts are lacking in this industry. So, the route map is, Complete your 10th class first. After that opt for 12th class with MPC stream with Mathematics Physics Chemistry subjects. There will be Entrance Exam for the candidates in order to get admission for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Popular Entrance Exams are AIEEE IIT-JEE BITS PILANI In addition, there will be state level Entrance Exams which are specific to that state. So, start taking coaching for national wide Entrance Exams from the very beginning of your 12th class. Give full attention to the preparation of the Entrance Exam and at the same time don't neglect your academics. Many of the colleges are giving special coaching or conducting special classes for these Exams along with academics. Join 12th class in top institutions like Sri Chaitanya, Narayana etc. Get good score or rank in the Entrance Exam. Depending upon your score, choose the list of colleges and try to get admission in those colleges. The duration of Mechanical Engineering course is 4 years. Soon after the completion of this course, you will be having good number of job opportunities in several private companies and in public companies as well like BHEL NTPC ONGC etc. Once you placed in a Government job, there won't be any work pressure and you can enjoy your job. |

Yes to become the mechanical engineer after the 10th you have to first complete your 10+2 board examination with the science stream.
After getting the 10+2 with the science stream you are eligible to get the admission in the engineering courses in the government or private colleges through different entrance examination. If you have interest in the mechanical stream then you can opt for it after the 10+2 as the stream for the b.tech courses. |

First of all I tell your qualification is not sufficient for doing Mechanical Engineer. You must have to complete 12th in Physics,Maths & Chemistry. After completing 12th with minimum 50% marks in these subjects you can get apply for B.Tech in mechanical engineering.
You have to appeared entrance exam such as JEE Mains,JEE Advanced,AIEEE etc.On the basis of scores in entrance exam you can get admission in B.Tech in a good college. |

Re: What is the procedure followed to become mechanical engineer after finishing 10th?
Engineering is one of the famous career option in modern scenario but the minimum educational qualification required for doing engineering courses is 10+2 passed from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
After completion of 10th, first of all you must do 10+2 in science stream with compulsory subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the least percentage of marks is 50% in 10+2 for engineering course. The next step is to apply for the engineering entrance exams like: 1. Joint Entrance exam. 2. State level Engineering Entrance exam. 3. Private Engineering entrance exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMEEE etc. On the basis of rank secured in any of these exam, you can take admission in engineering colleges. Even if you do not clear any exam, you can take admission on the basis of PCM percentage of marks under management quota seats. |
