What should I do if I have less than 60 percent marks in my graduation to attend competitive exams?
I had completed my B.Com at an open university. I scored 43.75% marks but these marks are not sufficient to attempt competitive exam we should have at least 60%. What should I do where I will get the direct 3rd-year admission or should I repeat my graduation?

Re: What should I do if I have less than 60 percent marks in my graduation to attend competitive exams?
No, there is no minimum required aggregate in bachelor degree to appear in government job entrance examination.
For SSC CGL. Railway, Civil Service, Defence Service the required qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree. There is no limitation on aggregate to appear in examination. So, you can prepare for examination for the job you want to prepare for examination. |

Re: What should I do if I have less than 60 percent marks in my graduation to attend competitive exams?
1. You have got wrong information about your eligibility for government job entrance exams. There are many government job entrance exams like SSC CGL, CPO, UPSC Civil Services, CAPF etc where you just need to have passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree.
2. With 43.75% marks in bachelor's degree, you are eligible for majority of competitive exams at state and central government level. 3. If you want to increase your percentage of marks then you can again pursue it from IGNOU in distance mode. |

If you are not satisfied with your marks in bachelor's degree then you can re pursue bachelor's degree again from any recognized university of India.
There are many government job entrance exams where you can apply with 44% marks in bachelor's degree like: UPSC exams like CDS, CAPF, Civil Services exam. SSC Combined Graduate level exam. IB ACIO exam. State Public Service Commission. |

You have completed your graduation with less than 45 percent marks and this will not bar you from appearing in the competitive exams for government jobs.
In the below competitive exams for the government jobs no minimum marks is required at graduation level BANK PO BANK Clerk Income Tax Sales Tax Public Services exams like IAS, IPS, IFS State Services exams In all these exams you require just graduation pass from a recognised university. But you have to work very hard to clear these exams as many students appear in these exams and seats are very less. So start preparing for the exams |
