The eligibility criteria for the candidate for Probationary officer post in different banks is as below:

>>Candidates must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university with at least passing percentage of marks. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

The age limit for different entrance exams is as below:

1. SBI PO: 21-30 years.

2. IBPS PO: 20-30 years.

Three years upper age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. You can apply in final year of bachelor of technology for these exams in order to get job in banks as PO. You can also apply for the Specialist officer in banks.

Eligibility for PO exam:

Candidate must have passed graduation from recognized university and final year students can also appear.

Minimum 60% marks for general and 55% for SC/ST.

Age 21-30 years for General and relaxation of 5 years is given to ST/ST and 3 years to OBC.

PWD SC/ST - relaxation of 15 years
PWD OBC - relaxation of 13 years
PWD Gen - relaxation of 10 years.

Let me tell that if percentage is not mentioned in the eligibility criteria of PO exam then graduation sufficient to appear in the exam.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for bank PO exams is that the candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no specific percentage required to apply for bank PO exams. The overall eligibility is that the candidate must have passed the graduation course.

Candidates who are in the final year of graduation course can also apply for bank PO exams, if they meet the age limit criteria.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI PO exam. Bank Po exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Your age should be in between 20 to 30 years.

Examination pattern for Bank PO 2015:-

Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability - 50 questions for 50 marks each
English Language and General Awareness - 40 questions for 40 marks each

Basically there is NO certain minimum percentage required in order to be eligible for appearing in Bank PO Examination. Yes, the basic educational qualification required is "Graduate Degree" or a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Since Graduation PASS is required, you do not need to worry at all in order to get eligibility for appearing in Bank Probationary Officer Recruitment Exam. Once again, I am happy to say that you are eligible to appear in Bank PO Recruitment Examination as there is no minimum percentage required.
As you are presently doing your 3rd year B.Tech, you are not eligible to appearing in Bank PO Exam this year. Candidates who are doing their Final year are also eligible to apply for Bank PO Examination. You can apply for Bank PO Exam as you will be doing 4th year of B.Tech next year.
