When ips application form r comes 2012-13 preliminari exam

i want to know from where i get the IPS forn date

Hi,

UPSC Civil services exam notification is going to be released in the month of December 2011.

he Prelims date is already declared i.e. on May 20th ,2012.

Mains Examination Date is also declared i.e. on Oct 5th, 2012.

So you can find the notification form UPSC website or from employment news.

what are the requirement to give the exam

IPS stands for Indian Police Service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.

To eligible for this exam
>>You should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university with min 50% marks.
>>And your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Important dates for IPS-2012 Exam:
Indian Police Service(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012.
Exam will held on 20th May 2012.
Indian Police Service (Main Exam) notification for this year:
Exam will held on 15th Oct 201

Hi friend,

The UPSC Civil service exam notification will be released in the month of December 2011.

The name of the preliminary examination for the post of IPS is CSAT.The examination is conducted by the UPSC every year.
The dates of the examination is already announced.The application form for the CSAT examination will be available from 4th February 2012.The last date of submission of the form is 03.03.2012.The exam will be held on 20.05.2012.

Yes , Management student are eligible for IPS exam . But your management course must be equivalent to graduation course.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IPS EXAM:-

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be citizen of India.


PROCESS BECOME A IPS OFFICER:-

1. Fill up the Application form.
2.Preliminary exam is consist of two papers.
a) General studies -----150 marks
b)From Optional subject -------300 marks
3.If you have qualify in Preliminary exam then you have to go for IPS mains exam
4.After completion of your main exam you have to go for Interview.

EXAM DATE:-

Notification Date - 04/02/2012
Last date of application - 05/03/2012
Preliminary examination - 20/05/2012.

I.P.S exam is also known as civil services exam.

Civil services exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Civil service exam is different services like:-
> Indian Administrative Services
> Indian Police Services
> Indian Foreign Services
> Indian Revenue Services
> Indian Postal Services
etc
