I have completed my B.Com with 53.4% marks.
I want to give IBPS exams. Can you please tell me
I am eligible or not for appearing IBPS?

Yes of course. You are absolutely eligible to apply for IBPS examination. IBPS i.s Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is conducted for admission to probationary officer, clerical examination and specialist officer examination. This year probationary officer exam notification has been already released. The online registration will be started from 10th July 2015. Last date for receipt of application is 01st August 2015.

Eligibility Criteria: The applicant should have completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. The candidate age should be between 20 years to 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination. Upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.

Yes you are absolutely eligible to apply for IBPS Exams still having 53% of marks in B.Com. Actually IBPS requires the candidates who have complete the graduation from the recognized University with minimum percentage of marks.

But there is No specific requirement of percentage of marks for IBPS. Under IBPS Exam you will have various designations as I said earlier.

I am happy to say that "There is NO Certain minimum percentage is required" in order to be eligible for appearing in IBPS Examination. The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in IBPS Recruitments is "Graduation or Bachelor Degree" in any discipline from a recognized university.

Minimum Educational Qualification Required:

<> A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

<> The candidate must possess valid Mark-Sheet/ Degree Certificate that he/ She is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

<> There is NO particular percentage is required in order to be eligible, and just pass in the qualifying examination is accepted. Since you have successfully passed B.Com from a recognized university, you are certainly eligible to appear in IBPS Related recruitment examinations.

You have completed B.Com degree so you are eligible for IBPS exam.

IBPS stand for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selections.

Only those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS PO and clerk exam.

For IBPS po exam, your age should be 20 to 30 years.

For IBPS clerk exam, your age should be 20 to 28 years.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a recruitment board which conducts common written examination for post of Clerical, PO/ MT, Specialist Officer, RRB etc.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidates age should be between 18-30 years.

* Candidate should have passed any degree or equivalent in any stream from any recognized university or institution.

* Knowledge of local language of the state is necessary and should have passed in that language as a subject in class X.

As you have bachelor's degree in commerce you are eligible to apply for IBPS exams for any of the posts.

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection

You can apply for IBPS PO exam as having completed B.com as per the educational qualification. The needed educational qualification needed is candidate should have completed a degree in any stream from a recognized university with at least 60% aggregate and there are relaxation for other category which is 55%for SC/ST candidate.

There are various eligibility criteria which are needed to be satisfied such as:

# Candidate should have a citizenship in India

# Age limit needed is 20-28 years and this is for general category candidate and there are relaxation for other category candidates such as for SC/ST it is 20-33 years and for 20-31 years for OBC.

If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the IBPS Exam.
