I am sailing as a second officer.i have total 40 month sea experience. i would like to do some government job related to shipping.like port trust dg shipping?

For government jobs, age and qualification I'd required. Most of the jobs don't consider experience as compulsory. So, you must make sure that you have the age and qualification according to the job notification.

Selection in government jobs will be based on the performance in the written exam and interview. Merchant navy experience can get you job at various government funded ports and docks.
