Sir, I am 12th pass with 73.74%. I have got 90 in biology, 68 in physics, 74 in chemistry and 6 in English. Can I join Indian army? Please Sir call me 7023926262

Yes, of course you can join the Indian army after completion of your intermediate in science stream from a recognized board. To join Indian army you have to give NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC. Yes, you can join Indian Army after completion of your 12th standard with 73.74% aggregate marks from a recognised board. To join Indian Army, you have to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC by satisfying the eligibility criteria mentioned below :-

1. You should be a citizen of India.

2. You should be in between 16.5 to 19.5 years.

3. You should have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board.

4. You should be an Unmarried Male candidate

5. You should be Physically as well as Mentally healthy.

Yes, you can certainly join Indian Army after successful completion of 12th Class with 73.74% marks. In order to join Indian Army, you are required to appear in NDA Examination that is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Through NDA, you can join 3 wings and they are,
>> Air Force
>> Indian Navy
>> Indian Army

For Air Force Wing:-

* You must have completed 12th Class or Higher Secondary Class in 10+2 pattern with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

For Indian Navy:-

* You must have completed 12th Class with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in order to be eligible for appearing in NDA Examination.

For Indian Army :-

* Where as, for Indian Army there is no such rule. So I am sure that you are certainly eligible to join Indian Army through NDA Examination on the basis of 12th Class.

You can join Indian Army after class 12th through National Defence Academy examination. Candidates from biology background are eligible for Indian Army only.
