The major banking entrance examinations conducted are Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written Examination for Clerk, Probationary officer and Specialist .
1. You must be a graduate or in final year of bachelor's degree to apply for these exams. The age limit is 20-28 years for clerk and 20-30 years for PO post. 2. Other than IBPS, you can apply for SBI Clerical and Probationary officer examination. You can start your preparation from now. |

As far as you are concerned about the major banking examinations available then these are SBI and IBPS bank examinations for the post of Clerk, Probationary Officer and Specialist Officer.
* Further the minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in bank examinations for recruitment at above mentioned posts are as here under :- i) You must have the citizenship of India. ii) Your age must lie within 18 years to 28 years for the post of clerk, 21 years to 30 years for the post of probationary officer and 20 years to 30 years for the post of specialist officer. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms in each case. iii) You must have completed your graduation degree course in any stream from a recognized university for the post of Clerk and Probationary Officer. But for the post of specialist officer your graduation degree must be in the specific subject. iv) Along with above mentioned qualifications you must hold good communication skills along with the basic knowledge to work on computer. 1. IBPS PO 2. IBPS Specialist Officer CWE 3. IBPS RRB 4. IBPS Clerk CWE 5. SBI Specialist Officer Exam 6. SBI Clerk 7. SBI PO Exam 8. RBI Assistant Exam *Eligibility for Bank Clerical Post: For clerical post, you should have cleared class 12th examination with required percentage and your age should be in between 18 years to 28 years. *Eligibility for Officer Post: You should be graduated from a recognized university with securing minimum 55% marks and your age should be in between 21 years to 26 years. |

You can get job in banking sector through
1. IBPS PO 2. IBPS CLERK 3. IBPS RRB ASSISTANT/ PO 4. RBI ASSISTANT 5. SBI CLERK 6. SBI PO 7. IBPS SPECIALIST OFFICER etc. Qualification: Candidates must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognised university with 50%. Age limit: Candidates age should be between 20-27 years for Clerk posts and 20-30 years for PO posts. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC upto 5 years. Selection process of Clerk post in banking sector is Preliminary exam, Mains exam then final merit list. Where Selection process of PO post in banking sector is Preliminary exam, Mains exam, Interview then final merit list. 1st exam is Preliminary exam. Total marks- 100. Total time-1 hr.
