I have done b pharm from mumbai university. i m 38 years old female. what shall i do to get college teaching job . if i go for post graduation gor msc in maths r in chemistry. but from didtance learning. does it help me and is there any age limit to get govrt job. pl help

For the lecturer job in government colleges, the aspirant should fulfill the following eligibility criteria .

Candidates are selected through National Eligibility Test (NET) which is conducted by University of Grants Commission (UGC). The candidates who qualified in the exam can become lecturer's in government colleges.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate must possess graduation degree from a recognized university with 55% marks.

* Candidate's age should range from 18-34 years.

* Age relaxation of three years for OBC and five years for SC/ ST.

I am soumya 36years old .I have completed MA Bed in Eglish.gm category I want aided highschool govt job in karnataka.

I am 52 yrs old lady and from last 21yrs I am teaching biology in inter classes in a unaided school I want to become principal. In aided or unaided college.how it would be possible

Sir I have completed B.ed and I will complete 43years in coming 1st October. Can I apply gov teacher job.

Sir my age is 35 nd right nw I m doing Bed. Can I m eligible for govt job afterwards.

There does not seem to be any specified upper limit in the age for an Assistant Professor. In IITs, we expect an Assistant Professor to have around 3 years post-doc experience before s/he is hired, and assuming that a person can finish a PhD in Engineering by around 27 to 28 years of age, it would be reasonable to assume that a fresh Assistant Professor would be around 32 years old. Some people may acquire an additional working experience of around 3 to 5 years, so 37 years would be the upper limit.

Thus, I would not expect anyone more than 38 years old to start a career as an Assistant Professor.



But, if, for some reason, one does not get promotions beyond the rank of Assistant Professor, one may even retire at this position !
