What are the options for a student of MPC to opt a course after intermediate to get a government job? What are the options available in government sector?

There are not many government jobs opportunities for candidates on 12th std qualification.

There are many opportunities after bachelor degree. But, some of the best available entrance examination after 12th are :-

NDA.

SSC CHSLE.

TTE in Indian Railway.

IB.

So, you can appear for these entrance examination and after qualifying in entrance examination eligible for recruitment in jobs.

The government job opportunities for 12th passed students are :-

NDA.

CHSLE conducted by SSC.

State SSC.

Indian Railway.

Defence Service as Clerk and Soldier.

These are best available option for you for recruitment in job. So, as according to your interest appear in examination and qualify in examination for final selection.

There are certain government job entrance exams for which you can apply after 10+2 in Science stream with PCM subjects.

>>National Defence Academy Entrance exam: The age limit for NDA exam is 16.5-19.5 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA exam.

>>Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary level examination: The minimum age limit for SSC CHSL exam is 18 years.

>>Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant examination.

You can apply for all exams mentioned above.

Job Opportunities for MPC background candidates:

There are job opportunities available in government sector for candidates from 12th Class (MPC) Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry background. But I can truly say that there are less number of job opportunities for just 12th passed candidates. In order to find good number of job opportunities, I strongly suggest you to pursue Higher studies. The best course I would recommend you to go with after completion of 12th Class is Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology (B.E/ B.Tech) course.
