What are the steps to become IPS after Degree in Electrical stream?
My name is Zahid yahya. I have completed my degree in electrical. I want to join IPS. So what are the steps to reach there?

As you have completed the bachelor's degree in electrical engineering stream, you satisfy the minimum academic qualification required to apply for the Civil Services examination. For this exam minimum qualification is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Only passing percentage of marks is enough to be eligible for this exam. The notification for 2016 Civil Services exam will come on 23rd of April, 2016. After that you can apply for the exam at www.upsconline.nic.in. The minimum age limit is 21 years. You must clear all the three stages of exam to become IPS officer. |
