Hello Sir, I am Srikanth and I completed B.Sc in Computers from Osmania University. I have done my degree with one backlog and it took 2 years gap for that subject. Am I eligible to get into software field and please let me know

If you have cleared your pending backlog, then you are eligible for Software field jobs.

Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for software companies is 60%. Candidates having pending backlog are not eligible for software companies recruitment. Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for software companies recruitment.

Most of the Multi National Companies don't allow candidates who have gap in their academics. The main reason for why they don't allow such candidates is only a"1 year gap" allowed between academics. But you I suggest you to apply for the job in small scale IT industries, so that you may go with Software Industry after gaining some experience.

You may apply for the below mentioned posts viz.,
* Consultant
* System Analyst
* Software Engineer or a Programmer
* System Administration
* System Engineer or System Integrator
* Technical Support o Support Engineer
* Technical Writer
* Hardware Designer

You will have to clear all your backlog in order to avail a job in any software firm as it is the minimum eligibility criteria for it.

You should therefore clear your pending paper first and then appear for various interview sessions.
