Hi everyone, can I know my eligibility to do BTech(Aerospace Engineering) as I am a student of 12th Science so I will be able to do this BTech? Please let me know about this as soon as possible. Thank you!

B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology and it is an undergraduate professional technical degree course of four years after completing which one head towards becoming an engineer.

Further, the minimum education required for pursuing B.Tech degree in any discipline is a Class 12th with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 45% marks from a recognized board. Although, for admission in top engineering colleges the minimum marks required in Class 12th is higher.

So, being a student of Class 12th with Science stream you are definitely eligible to pursue Aerospace engineering degree course. Further, for pursuing the same degree course from any top engineering colleges you need to qualify entrance examinations like JEE, State EEE, BITSAT, SRMEEE, etc. .

Yes, you can do BTech(Aerospace Engineering) after completing 12th Science. First perform well in your 12th examination. Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be above 75%, and average should be above 75%. After this, go for JEE Main and JEE advanced examinations. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission to BTech/BE programmes in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs and acts as the preliminary exam for admission to IITs. If you perform well in the JEE main, you can get the Aerospace Engineering at the college of your choice.
