Does b.tech course in navy only valid for boys? Kindly requesting to give information about chances for girls in Indian navy; who had completed 1st semester in b.tech??

No being a girl candidate and pursuing Bachelor of Technology degree course you are also eligible for joining Indian Navy on the basis of your educational qualification.

Also to join Indian Navy you will first have to complete your graduation degree course and then Combined Defense Services ( CDS ) examination. Te same examination is being held twice every year by Union Public Service Commission in two stages which includes Written examination and Service Selection Board interview respectively.

--> Apart from the educational qualification the criteria which you must have for appearing in the CDS examination to join Indian Navy ( Naval Academy ) are as here under :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 19 years to 22 years.

* You must be physically and mentally fit as per the service requirement norms.

Yes, B.Tech student are eligible for Indian Navy exam through CDS exam.

Educational Qualification Required:

For Naval Academy: B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering is required

Age Criteria:

For Naval Academy:- 19 to 22 years
