Does I have to show my caste certificate for admission in IIT if qualified in JEE Advanced which is applied under OBC category?

Hello Sir,
I have qualified for JEE Advanced in OBC category.
But till now I don't have caste certificate.
Can I apply without caste certificate in IIT through JEE Advanced?
They will ask for my caste certificate?

Yes, they will surely ask for your Caste Certificate as you have been provided under OBC quota. Therefore you will have to display your Caste Certificate at the time of admission or at any point of time when it is required or asked for.

NOTE: Without proper documents related to Caste Certificate, your admission can also be deemed to be cancelled/rejected.

Not only your candidature is liable to be rejected but you also might face legal action due to this.
Without the caste certificate you will be summarily rejected during counselling even if you are the national topper.
If you have claimed fake reservation then you better beware and skip the counselling as it would get messy.
If you are a genuine candidate of reserved category, then do all that you can to get your certificate before counselling. The first thing they would ask after your JEE marksheet is caste certificate.

I do not have latest(2015 to 16) OBC certificate, but in the advanced application form it is asking for a OBC certificate issue date within 2015 to 16, What date should I provide in this case?
