Yes, you are eligible to join the CID after the graduation in any discipline.
To join the CID the candidates have to qualify in the SSC CGL examination conducted by the SSC every year for the recruitment of the candidates on the different Grade B jobs. The eligibility to appear for the examination is :- * Candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university. * Candidates age must be between the 19-27 years with the relaxation in the age for th reserved category. * Candidates must have passed the graduation in any discipline. So you are eligible to appear for the examination. The examination for the 2015 is over so you have to wait for the next year. The examination is conducted in all the three stages of the examination for the final selection. For more information about the examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in. |

CID stands for the Criminal Investigation Department. After completion of your bachelor's degree, you can apply for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam for the sub Inspector post in CID.
This examination is conducted once every year by the SSC. The age limit for the SSC CGL is 20-30 years and upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. SSC CGL 2015 dates are over. Wait for the next year exam. Official website: www.ssc.nic.in. |
