How to join Armed Forces after completing B.Sc. degree in Forestry?

Yes you can apply for ARMED Forces after completion of B.Sc. But you have to crack an exam called " CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) Exam. So you can have a look on the details about it .

Here we are giving you the details about CDS Examination.

>> You should complete graduation from the recognized university with minimum percentage of marks.

>> Age should be in between these limits

* Minimum Age : 19 years

* Maximum Age : 24 years

>> Final year candidates can also eligible to apply for CDS Examination.

>> There is a Age relaxation available for the reserved candidates.

To join in Armed Force after completion of your Graduation in B.Sc, you need to appear in CDS examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. Eligibility criteria required to appear in CDS examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. Educational Qualification :-
--> For Indian Military Academy (IMA) :- You must have completed Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
--> For Indian Naval Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
--> Indian Air Force Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree from a recognised university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

3. Age Limit :-
--> Indian Military Academy :- 19-24 years
--> Air Force Academy :- 19-24 years
--> Naval Academy :- 19-22 years
--> Officers’ Training Academy :- 19-25 years

4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate to be eligible to apply for Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy.

5. You must be Physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC CDS examination notification.

By qualifying in all the four rounds mentioned above, you can join in Armed Forces through CDS.

You can join Armed forces after completing B.Sc Degree in Forestry through CDS exam.

You should have passed graduation degree from a recognized university in any stream to join Indian army.

Your age should be 19-23 years.

You must be citizen of India.

You must be physically as well as mentally fit.

No,you are not eligible for job in AFMS armed forces. To get job in armed forces medical services(AFMS) you have B.sc in nursing but not in forestry.
So you not eligible for AFMS.
But you have opportunity to get job in army,navy,air force through CDS exam.
The minimun eligibility is graduation from recognized university.
Age should be between 20 to 27 years.
Candidate should be physically fit.

After B.Sc degree in Forestry you can join Indian Army through CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Exam. After B.Sc degree you can only apply for Indian Army through CDS, you are not eligible for Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

19-25 Years : Officers’ Training Academy
19-24 Years : Indian Military Academy

You are eligible to apply for armed forces. Here are the details for joining in armed forces.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidate can be subject of Nepal, Bhutan.

* Candidates age should range between 19-24 years.

* Age relaxation is applicable as per norms.

* Candidate should have minimum qualification of bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

If you fulfill the eligibility criteria, the candidate should write the written examination conducted by UPSC. After the qualifying in the written examination the candidate need to take the Personal interview and Physical fitness test.

Candidates need to apply for the posts in the armed forces through online or offline mode from official website.

Besides that, the candidate need to fulfill the physical requirements also i.e., the candidate should be physically fit. The aspirant should be 157 cms in height and weight in proportion to age and height. The chest of the aspirant should be 82 cms and the visual standards of the candidates should be 6/6 in both eye without any deformity.
