I abhimanyu just passed 12th class and applied for nata...i didn't appears for jee mains b.arch......so if i score good marks in nata can i get iit or nit???? please reply........

IITs and NITs have their own entrance test for admission to all undergraduate programs
so these colleges don't accept NATA score for admission to B.Arch. or B.Plan.

IITs, NITs, SPA and only few other engineering colleges don't accept NATA score.

But, there are a good number of institutions nation wide that accept NATA score
for admission in B.Arch. and B.Plan. courses.

B.Arch. in NITs & SPA
For this, you will have to appear JEE Main (Paper-2)

B.Arch in IITs
For this you will have to appear JEE Main (Paper-1) and qualify for JEE Advanced and when
you qualify JEE Advanced you will have to appear Architecture Aptitude Test conducted
by IITs.

No, IITs and NITs give the admission in Architecture through JEE.

NATA stands for the National Aptitude Test for Architecture.

Various colleges other than the IITs and NITs offer the B. Arch. through this test.

It is conducted from April to June every year and the forms are sold out in the month of February to April.

For the admission a common merit list is prepared by based on the marks obtained by them in the test and the marks in 12th.

The weightage of the marks is 50-50 for both and the students are called for the counselling through which they get the colleges.

As some NIT s are offering admissions through NATA score then what is the process to get into them after completion of NATA??? please reply
