Sir, I am in 1st year doing B.E from SATI Vidisha IT branch and I want to switch to UIT, RGPV for the same course. Is that possible?

You can switch from one college to another college only before the admission process or counselling process has completed. After completion of all rounds of counselling of seat allocation, you cannot change from one college to another college. If you are interested to switch from one college to another college then, you need to pay the complete course fee to your college and you can get certificates from them and you can join in other college which you are interested for pursuing B.E course.

Yes, in the very first year it is possible provided you should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in your 1st year examination.

You just need to follow the rest of the steps provided by the college itself to get the transfer done.

College transfer after completion of first year of engineering is allowed within same university but there are certain rules and regulations for it. The first condition is that some seats must be vacant in that branch of another college in which you want admission.

If seats are vacant in your desired college then second condition is that you must have required percentage of marks for admission in that college as set by admission cell of that college. If you meet both criteria then you can apply for college transfer from your registrar office. You must not have any active pending backlogs.

Normally, switching of college is not possible because admission is through entrance exam and seats are allotted through counselling.

If seats are not available then there is no chance at all for switching. Also, a private college won't allow such transfer because it will affect their reputation.
