All government universities will provide gate stipend.

But deemed universities will not provide gate stipend.

If you join in self finance cources in universities also you will not get stipend

Before joing colleges or at the time of admission ask them which cources will get gate stipend

Gate stipend is helpful for students whose parants income is low.

If you get admitted in universities through gate you will get stipend RS 8000/- per month

Every UGC approval university provide stipend in the case of PHD programme.But your PHD course must be full time course.

If you have GATE ,NET ,CSIR valid score then it is possible for stipend.

As you have qualify GATE you can apply your Phed to most reputed college in INDIA.

Advantage of gate qualification is that you can directly go for interview for your course there is no need to face the entrance exam conducted by the institute.
