Re: Eligibility to appear in UGC-NET(Commerce) for M.A.(Economics) candidate who has completed Graduation in Commerce?
If you have got at least 55% marks in your M.A Economics then you can surely apply for UGC NET. Yes you can apply for Commerce subject because Economics is mostly related to Commerce field. There is relaxation of about 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.
Therefore, don't worry about anything and start preparing for this subject. Merit is purely based on the marks you will get in the examination. There is no age limit for lectureship and if you are aiming for JRF then make sure that your age is below 28 years. There is age relaxation available for reserved category. |
