Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) offers integrated M.Tech –Ph.D courses in subjects like Glass and Ceramic Engineering, Building Engineering and Disaster Mitigation, Advanced Electronic Systems, Process Engineering Science and Transportation Engineering. Engineering graduates with a minimum of 70% marks can apply to courses in the concerned stream. Admissions are done through the test and/or interview conducted by the coordinating CISR laboratory (CSIR is usually conducting admission process of AcSIR).

Eligibility and Admission Process for M.Tech-Ph.D courses in AcSIR
Those who are interested to study integrated M.Tech - Ph.D program on High Power Microwave Devices and System Engineering/Mechatronics/Advanced Electronic Systems must have completed engineering degree in any of the following subjects.

- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Engineering Physics
- Radio Physics
- Computer Science Engineering
- Mechatronics
Candidates having completed engineering degree from any of the recognized University can apply for the subject of Advanced Instrumentation Engineering/ Renewable Energy. Engineering graduates in mechanical engineering can apply for the subject of Advanced Automotive Technology
Candidates seeking admissions to M.Tech-Ph.D in Advanced Materials Physics and Engineering should be engineering graduate in any of the following streams
- Materials Science,

- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Engineering Physics
Civil engineers can try for subjects like Engineering of Structures and Transportation Engineering where as chemical engineers can look for Advanced Petroleum Science and Technology.
For M.Tech-Ph.D in Chemical Engineering Modeling & Simulation and Materials & Processes/ Process Engineering Science, eligible candidate must be an engineering graduate in any of the following subjects.

- Biotechnology
B.E/B.Tech graduates in any of the following streams can apply for Mine Safety Engineering/ Mineral Processing, Metal Extraction and Resource & Waste Management.

Other than this, eligible candidate must have at least 70% marks in the qualifying examination. Age must be less than 28 years. Reserved category candidates can have age relaxation. Candidates who have completed the course in the last two academic years are only considered for selection. Valid GATE scorers are an added advantage. Final selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s academic performance and score obtained in the interview session conducted at the concerned CSIR.
