MBA
india requires a good team of managers at present in order to compete with the other country.we already had a good team of scholars in india in the engineering field so MBA is good option . |

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
it depends on the company's choice...if a company needs a professionally skilled worker for research or technical job then they will hire a M.Tech Engineer and if it needs a Manager or someone who has management qualities they will go for MBA graduate...
i feel that in the present we have equal demand for both the MBA as well as M.Tech.... |

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
Hello,
As of the present scenario, MBA have much more scope than M.Tech. You can earn much more and easier after MBA. MBA can be pursued by any graduate whereas M.Tech can be pursued by those BE/ B.Tech graduate only. If you see the salary package, MBA is far better and you will work as a manager for a company. So, in my opinion, MBA is better. Thank you. |

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
I think MBA is best because it teaches us organizational knowledge and one can do M.Tech after B.Tech so it will be best if after B.Tech one can use MBA as they will acquire both knowledge technical + organizational

You should definately go for M.B.A as the market demands a sound engineer with a good knowledge of bussiness deals M.B.A, will give you the potential to not only survive in the market but to rule it so you should go for M.B.A good luck for rest of your career.

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
By doing MBA we can setup our own bussiness instead of doing a job in other hands.we can rule others by doing MBA others will rule on us if we will do M TECH.we can change our life history by doing MBA by building a good bussiness with good strategies and plans.

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
MBA is more in demand because we can get any job in the company after finishing m.tech...
but, only those who study mba can only apply for posts like CEO,MANAGER... MBA IS BETTER THAN M.TECH FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO EARN MORE AND ALSO WANT TO APPLY THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN BUSINESS... REGARDS <YOGI> |

"MBA IS IN MORE DEMAND" This statement is true because MBA is widely spread all over in which one could choose its own subject. But in M.tch only b.tch student can take part.

MBA has good career options. Nowadays the more of the companies looking for the person with more man management skills than the technical skills he have..so the one who had completed his b.tech its better option for him to go for MBA.

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
JOb propectus are good in both streams, but a lot depends on from which university are you passing out.
A post grad from IIMs gets an average salary of 15 lakh while another from a avg institute gets 6-7 lakh p.a. only. Further MBA is open to all, while Mtech is only for non medical students. And its also a matter of interest in subjects, not every can find management courses interesting. |

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
m.ba has more demand than m.tech but only if u do your m.b.a from a reputed college... but in case of m.tech more than college reputation your skills are given more importance... if you can get into a good college then you can go into m.b.a other wise m.tech will be a good choice.. and if you go for m.b.a , your 4 years of engineering education will be a useless thing.. so vote is for m.tech

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
I think MBA in more demand than M.Tech. Also MBA open for all field of students. In the other hand M.Tech is only for science graduates. You will get various companies after completing your MBA. But if you want to do research work then you should go for M.Tech. Otherwise MBA is better option.

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
MBA can be done by any graduate-arts, commerce, science as well as professionals like engineers and doctors too.
But only if you are an engineer then only you can do MTech. That's basic difference in eligibility. Now coming to job role-if you are from engineering backgroung looking for specilised knowledge and work then go for MTech. If you are from engineering or any other background but interested in managment role go for MBA. But one thing can be noted many times persons who start working after graudation and are ill fitted in their jobs/or do not likr their job profile/want to progress further they usully do MBA for career enhancment. About the demand part-Mtech jobs are few compared to MBA(as they are ore technical in nature) but at the same time eligible applicants in MTECH as few compared to MBA so I assume that the ratio is almost the same in both types of jobs. |

Re: M.TECH OR MBA? which one is more in demand?
I want to tell that if the candidate is sound in Technical in B.E. or B.Tech and also wants to elaborate his/her technical background so better option is M.Tech in IIT orelse if the candidate wants to switch over from Technical to Management side then MBA is the exact option.

If u have interest in core engineering go ahead with M.tech..... If u are interested in management cadre then go for MBA... "IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT UR INTERESTED IN"
Do anything with interest...that will take care of your bank balance..... |
