Can I reappear if qualified in GATE but unable to get admission?
Hello Friends,
I have given GATE in this year and qualified. I have filled the form but due to some bad circumstances I am thinking not to go for admission in M.Tech for this year. Please let me know if I can reappear in GATE for next year? |

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for GATE exam. There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam. You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years. |

Yes you can reappear in the GATE Examination.
There is no limit to the attempts regarding the GATE Examination. Since you have already given the Examination you are above 18 years so all the criteria in your case has been fulfilled and you can reappear in the GATE Examination again next year. |
