Eligibility to study M.A./M.Sc in Mathematics for BCA, MCA and B.Ed holder?
Hello,
I have completed my B.Ed, BCA and MCA. But there is no PGT Computer Science Government jobs available for me. So I want to do M.A. or M.Sc in Mathematics. Am I eligible to study M.A. or M.Sc? |

For M.Sc in Maths you need to have degree in Maths. You are having BCA qualification which will not be enough to get admission in the given course. This is pure maths field and you need a specialised degree in the given subject got getting admission.
If you are not getting school teaching job then you can try to clear NET on the basis of MCA for lecturer job. There are many colleges which have computer science lecturer vacancies. |

There are two types of admission in Delhi University. One is Direct Admission and the other one is through an entrance test. For the direct admission the eligibility will be for the graduates who completed B.A or B.Sc mathematics. In the other method any candidate who has obtained bachelor degree in any subject and has studied at least 3 courses each of one year duration or 6 courses each of one semester duration in Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in aggregate will be eligible to appear in entrance examination. You can check the same in University of Delhi website http://www.du.ac.in/du/index.php?page=m-a-m-sc-mathematics In all the other universities the eligibility to study M.A or M.Sc Mathematics is a B.A or B.Sc in Mathematics. |

Sorry, you are not allowed to pursue M.A./M.Sc in Mathematics after BCA, MCA and B.Ed.
Eligibility to study M.A./M.Sc in Mathematics : Candidate must have passed bachelor's in respective subject with honours. There is no age limit. Candidate must have secured more than 50% marks in graduation. |

I am a pure science student in high secondary level in west Bengal and I have BCA and MCA degree can I eligible for msc in mathematics?if I got M.tech degree then I eligible for msc in mathematics or not ? My compulsory subject is mathematics.
