I have appeared m.com part 1 exam and I am having 9 months work experience as an accountant so if i'll apply in bank job in which post i'll get job. Can you please let me know the information on the same? Awaiting for the answer soon.

Yes you can apply for bank jobs with graduation for the post of Clerks and Probationary Officer. The bank recruitment are done through IBPS. The eligibility for Common Written Examination (CWE) is a graduation in any discipline from the recognized university. You have to clear the CWE and then you have to clear interview to get a job. Yes, you can apply for banking sector because you have completed M.Com degree.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI clerk exam. Your age should be in between 20 to 28 years.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for IBPS and SBI PO exam. Your age should be in between 20 to 30 years.

Yeah you can apply for bank job after completion of M.com and having a work experience as an accountant. Even though your experience does not regard any relaxation still you can apply for the exam if you satisfy the eligibility criteria.

You can apply for the IBPS PO exam for the post of probationary officer and to apply for this post the qualification which you need to possess are:

# You should have a citizenship in India.

# Age limit needed is 20-30 years and this is for general category candidate. There are relaxation for other category candidates such as for SC/ST they get extra 5 years relaxation and for OBC it is 3 years.

# Regarding the educational qualification for the bank PO exam, candidate need to have completed a degree and that can be from any stream and you should have some knowledge about computers.

If you satisfy all these criteria then you can apply for the IBPS PO exam. Candidates are selected through 3 way selection process:

1. IBPS Prelims
2. IBPS Main
3. Interview

For the prelims you will have papers such as Reasoning Ability,

You are eligible for both post of clerk as well as Probationary Officer post. There are two entrance exams for jobs in different banks of India. First one is Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection which conducts Common written exam and second one is State Bank of India entrance exam for clerk and PO.

The eligibility criteria for both posts in both entrance exams is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Master of Commerce candidates can apply for exam. Age limit for IBPS PO is 20-30 years and for SBI PO is 21-30 years. There is upper age relaxation for candidates of reserved category.

For commerce or any graduate students the posts will be common. But the preference for the M.Com students will be higher when compared with other students at the time of selection of Interview.
