I am Parminder Singh from Punjab and I am doing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. I aspire Merchant Navy as my career so I want you to tell me each and every aspect of getting into it from completion of my course to getting the job?

While completing your B.Tech i will suggest you to go thought the CADD training and get all the concepts of the CADD design very well as this is the one of the Technology that will be used in Merchant Navy.

Now, after completion of your Degree try uploading your resume to the job finding website like:

1. http://www.naukri.com
2. http://www.monster.com

Try to upload your good resume with cover letter, you will soon start getting call from different Mechanical core company.
Before doing these please confirm to your college that are they bringing any core mechanical company to the college or not.

If they are not bringing the company then use the option i mentioned above.
