Hello, I am Priyanka. I have just completed my 12th board exams and I have completed my 10th from CBSE board and I want to become an Air hostess. My English is not so poor because I am studying in English medium school. Please tell me what can I do?

Tips to improve your English:

Don't be afraid to make mistakes.

Surround yourself in English environment.

Practice everyday.

Tell your family and friends about your study plan.

Try some tongue twisters.

Focus on fluency, not grammar.

Sing along to English song.

Procedure to become an Air Hostess for 12th Class candidates:

In order to become an Air Hostess, you are required to meet the below eligibility criteria.

>> You must have completed 12th Class with 10+2 pattern from a recognized board

>> The minimum age required is 17 or 18 years and the maximum age must not exceed 26 years.

>> You are required to Master in English and must have knowledge of any of the foreign languages.

>> The minimum height required is 157.5 cm and your weight must be in proportion to the height.

>> I suggest you to undergo Air Hostess training to pursue some courses to become Air Hostess and then you can apply for concerned recruitment's.

>> Some of the institutes are,
* Aptima Air Hostess Academy
* Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training
* Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics ...etc.,

I am listing here all the requirements to become an air hostess. So, if you can fulfill all the requirements then you will be eligible to become an air hostess:

> You must be a 12th qualified candidate. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their graduation with specialization in hotel or tourism management.

> Your age should be in between 18 years to 25 years.

> You must be an unmarried Indian female. Many airlines accept married candidates also.

> Your height should be minimum 157.5 cms and weight should be in proportion to your height.

> You must be fluent in English and Hindi languages.

> You must be fair in Complexion.

> You must have a good eyesight and you can wear lenses not exceeding the power of - 2D.

You can apply for an Air Hostess job after completion of 12th standard. It is advisable to study, graduation in any discipline to become an air hostess. Your age should be between 18 years to 26 years and should have very good communication skills in English and Hindi to become an air hostess. Unmarried candidates are preferred for the air hostess job in many airlines. Your minimum height should be 157 cm and weight should be in proportion to your height. You should be fit physically and mentally to become an air hostess. Candidates with pleasing personality and pleasant voice are preferred.

As you want to become an Air Hostess then you have mastery in spoken English.
