I am interested in getting a job as a Teacher in Central School. But i want to teach only 9 to 12th level students. So tell me the eligibility criteria for becoming one in Central School?

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan recruiting the teachers in the central schools. But the notification or the teacher recruitment is being conducted in the month of Feb and September.

Yes, you are eligible for recruitment in Central School but before that, you have to appear and qualify in CTET examination.

The examination is conducted by CBSE twice every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree from any recognised university and have one year B.Ed from any recognised university.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for 9-12 standard Teacher post in Central school is mentioned below :-

1. You must have completed Graduation and B.Ed degree course from a recognised university.

2. You must have to appear in CTET examination to be eligible to as join as a 9-12 standard school teacher in central school.

For getting job of school teacher at 9-12th level you must have to qualify the basic education qualification first. I mean you should have at least B.Ed or graduation degree. For ease in getting teacher job you should apply for the TET (Teacher eligibility test). If you will do B.Ed after completion of your graduation (Bachelor degree) then you will get preference in scrutiny of applications.
Also following qualities are expected in you for a teacher post:
* Good communication skill.
* Good personality.
* Creativity
* Easy handling nature towards students.
* Student friendly nature.

For 9-12 level teacher post you need to apply for PGT vacancies for which you need masters degree with 50% marks along with the B.Ed degree from a recognized university.
In central schools only CTET qualified candidates are eligible for permanent teacher post. Hence, if you have the qualification then try to crack CTET.

The eligibility criteria is as follows;

> You should have completed your graduation from a recognized University scoring a minimum of 55% in it.

> You should have a B.Ed degree from a recognized Institute.

> Your age should not have exceeded 30 years at the time of applying for he post.

> You will have to clear UGC-NET examination.

Eligibility criteria for TGT:-

Candidates must have completed their Graduation from a recognized University.
Candidates must have scored at least 50% of marks in the Graduation level.
Candidates must have a B.Ed degree with at least 3 years of teaching experience.

Central School ( K.V ) runs under Central government and so the recruitment in the school are on the basis of CTET.
