In order to become an IT officer, you have to first clear the Short Service Commission exam (SSC). You are required to complete the Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university to appear for the exam. Even candidates who have minimum pass marks in graduation can apply. The lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 27 years. These exams are usually conducted every year in the month of April.

Income Tax Officer

To become a income tax officer you will have to fulfil eligibility criteria of income tax officer.

You must have graduate degree with from recognized university.

Your age should not be less than 18 and not more than 27 years.relaxation for
sc/st/obc in upper age limit.

Physical Standard for male-Height 157.5 cms,Chest 81 cms.relaxation of 5
cms for non general category.

Physical Test for male-Walking 1600 metres in 15 minutes.
Cycling 8 Km in 30 minutes.

Physical Standard for female-Height 152 cms,Weight 48 Kg. relaxation for
height of 2.5 cm and weight 2 kg for non gernal category.

Physical Test for female-Walking 1 km in 20 minutes.
Cycling 3 km in 2.

the minimum academic qualification required is a bachelor's degree, in any discipline from a recognized university.
Age limit:
the eligible age to apply for the post of Income Tax Officer is between 18-27 years.
The examination which you will need to crack, to become Income Tax Officer is known as combined graduate level examination and is conducted by staff selection commission.

Eligibility to be an Income Tax Officer:

Educational Qualification:-
should be Bachelor's degree of any stream.

Age limit:-
The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years on 1st July
of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date.
The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of certain categories of employees working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel.

The notification for the examination with relevant details regarding rules and syllabus is published in the month of April in the 'Employment News' / 'Rozgar Samachar' , 'Gazette of India', and in some leading
Newspapers of the country.

Selection procedure: Preliminary Examination,Main Examination,Interview.

Preliminary exam consisting of two papers. The papers are on:

Main Examination:- Those candidates who are declared qualified in the

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

- Eucational qualification:

there are some Eligibility criteria such as:

1.Qualification:

2.Age:

For any C.A qualified student easily become Income Tax officer exam.Because what ever the subjects you studied in your course will help you in Income tax officer exam.Income tax officer exam divided into three sections.You can easily clear all three rounds.Because first round mains exam contains all the question what ever you studied in your C.A course.Other round just about personal interviews
