Am I eligible for Indian foreign Service exams after being detained due to health problems?


Respected Sir, I am pursuing my B.Tech but according to my health problems I have been detained. I want to know am I eligible for Indian foreign Service exams after being detained due to health problems? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, you are eligible for Indian foreign Service exam after completion of B.Tech course.

IFS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.

Graduation degree from a recognized University are eligible for civil service exam. Final year candidates can also apply for Indian Foreign Service exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 32 years.

Age relaxation :-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman
