GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination. It is a standardised test which is an admission reuirement for most graduate schools in united states. There is no specific eligibility criteria required to appear in GRE examination. Anyone irrespective of age, educational qualification, etc., are eligible to appear in GRE examination. However, to get admission in any course on the basis of GRE score, you must have to satisfy the required eligibility criteria. Re: What is the eligibility criteria for Graduates for giving GRE?
Eligibility Criteria Required to appear in GRE Exam:
Basically the minimum percentage required in Graduation is "50% marks" from a recognized university. Candidates must have passed Graduate Degree or Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university to give Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Generally all candidates are eligible to apply for GRE Examination irrespective of the age and academic qualification. Since you are presently doing Graduation, I suggest you to apply after completion of Graduate Degree in order to be eligible. Make sure you secure minimum 60% marks in third year of Graduation as well to be in safe side. There is no specific age criteria required to be eligible for appearing in GRE Examination. |
