Exam Pattern of the Space Technology Entrance Exam
Graduate program
This paper shall have a total of 150 MCQ’s. The pattern of questions and marks distribution in this paper is given below.
- Physics – 40 questions shall be asked in this part.
- Chemistry – 40 questions shall be asked in this part.
- English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning – 15 questions shall be asked in the former part and 10 questions shall be asked in the latter part.
- Mathematics - 45 questions shall be asked in this part.
Correct answers shall be given the whole 3 marks and for incorrect responses negative marking will be given (-1 mark).
Doctoral program
This examination shall have a time period of 2 hours. The paper shall have three classifications. The details are:
- Section A – Basic Mathematics and Basic Physics
- Section B – Advanced Physics
- Section C – Electronics
Each of these parts shall carry 15 questions of the objective nature. A minimum thirty questions shall have to be answered by students. Correct answers shall get 3 marks and minus one mark for erroneous responses.
How to Procure Application for the Space Technology Course?
Admission form for these exams can be obtained from the admission office of all the participating institutions. Admission forms can be got from the official websites of these institutions as well. One other method for an aspirant to get his admission form is by post. To get the form by this way, it will be needed by the person to mail a requisition letter to the concerned authority. This mail ought to be accompanied by a DD of the amount concerned.
