All India Institute of Speech & Hearing was established in the year 1965 as an autonomous institute under Government of India. The institute is fully funded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The institute actually aims to impart professional training, conducting research and other activities. Education public on issues related to communication disorders is also one of the major objective of the institute. The institute initially started off with only one post graduate program. But at present, the institute offers various courses including a certifcate curse, several diploma programes etc.

Application Fee:

General and OBC candidates must send the non refundable application fee of Rs. 400 only. The amount of application fee is Rs. 100 only for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories. However, women candidates are exempted from the payment of this application fee. The application fee must be paid in the form of a demand draft only. The demand draft should be made in favour of Director, AIISH payable at Mysore only.
