Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd have invited application to the post of Graduate Apprentice Engineer. Recruitment to the post of Graduate Apprentice Engineer in Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd is conducted on the basis of written test and personal interview. Candidates who have completed engineering degree with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized University are eligible to apply for this post. Upper age limit for application is 27 years. Final selection is made on the basis of scores obtained in written exam, group discussion and personal interview.

Eligibility Criterion for Graduate Engineer in MRPL

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in respective subjects from a recognized University is the minimum qualification required. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate in qualifying exam. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Cast/ Scheduled Tribe require a minimum of 40% marks in qualifying exam to be eligible. Final year students who are awaiting results can also apply for this post. Candidates who have completed graduation in any of the following subjects are eligible for the posts available in departments concerned.

• Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering in Chemical Engineering
• Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering in Instrumental Engineering
• Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering in Electrical Engineering

Age Restrictions

Candidates who are more than 27 years of at the time of application are not eligible to apply for this post. Those who are belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class and Person with Disability can seek relaxations in terms of upper age as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India.

Selection Procedure

Recruitment to the post of Graduate Apprentice Engineer is carried out on the basis of scores obtained in written exam conducted by the organization. There will be objective type questions in the examination. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. Those who have secured the minimum cut off marks in written examination will be short listed for personal interview and group discussion. Final selection will be on the basis of scores obtained in group discussion as well as in personal interview conducted by the organization.
