You can apply provided you are sure that you will clear the backlogs before the interview round. It is must that you have your final marks by the time of interview. If you are unable to do so then you will be disqualified. Your priority should be to clear your backlogs. Along with that you can prepare for PSU tests.

Engineers who wish to work in PSU's like as ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, MRPL, BSNL, MTNL, DRDO, ISRO, NTPC, NHPC, BEL, BHEL, SAIL, HPCL, MRPL, PDIL, BEML, BARC, NFL and HAL etc.

For PSU's you don't really need to study separately in the technical part. Other aspects such as General Knowledge and Aptitude etc. come into the picture in these exams.

Educational qualification are different for different exam.

all companies has his educational qualification.

hallo friend,
No, my friend you can't apply for PSU as you have backlog.. to apply for job to any company you have to first clear your backlogs...
otherwise you will face problem at the time of applying in any PSU...
The eligibility criteria for applying in PSU-
*you must have 60%marks all over your career...
*you should not have any backlogs...
so, try to clear your backlog as early as possible, and get a clear result..
Thank you..

hi dear
well for applying in PSU's one should have a minimum of 60% in graduation...
but in some PSU's you may apply if you have only a single backlog.......
but it is advisable that you clear all your backlogs to secure a better job.........

It seems to be impossible to apply in PSUs with a backlog in your degree.

As you will apply online you will find a column for aggregate marks in degree. So you will not be able to fill it.

And if you try to put wrong details your candidature will be cancelled at the time of interviews.

So it would be better if you first clear your backlog and then apply for PSU jobs.

Hello friend ......

I am very sorry to say to that you won't be first of all eligible for any of the PSUs if you have a back paper in any of your semesters ...

Almost all the PSUs keep their eligibility criteria as a minimum 60% of the marks in the qualifying exam without any of the backlogs and from a recognized university ...

So if you want to get into any of the PSUs then you should first of all clear all your backlogs first then you can apply for the PSUs exams and qualify them to do the jobs in any of the PSUs ...

so best of luck
