The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) is authorized to provide the services such as forecasting of monsoons and other weather/climate parameters like ocean state, earthquakes, tsunamis and other phenomena related to earth systems, exploration and exploitation of ocean resources, and to look after Atmospheric Sciences, Ocean Science & Technology and Seismology in an integrated manner.
Job Profile:
Earth System Sciences Organization (ESSO), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Scientist C in its three Autonomous Institutions, namely, National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR), Goa, and Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Hyderabad.

Pay Scale – Rs. 15600 – 39100 + Grade pay of Rs. 6600
Eligibility:
Age Criteria – The maximum age limit is 40 years (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational qualification – The candidates having specific educational qualification in any branch listed in the website link http://www.incois.gov.in/Incois/Vacancies/advt1.jsp with at least 60% marks, are eligible to apply for the post. Selection Process:
The selection process will be through interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
