Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation of India was founded as a statutory body under the Government of India. The organisation performs all its operations or functions under the Minsitry of Labour and Employment. Samirendra Chatterjee is one of the key people of the organisation. The organisation has its headquarter located at the Bhavishya Nidhi Bhawan, New Delhi. The major objective of the organisation is to administer a compulsory contributory Provident fund, pension and a insurance scheme in India. It is considered as one of the largest social security organisations present in the world in terms of numbers of members.

Job Profile:

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation kis inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant positions of Social Security Assistants. Selected candidates will be recruited purely on regular basis and sport quota posts distributed state wise.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Social Secuirty Assistant is 18 years as on 9 March 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Social Secuirty Assistant is 27 years as on 9 March 2012.

Relaxation in the prescribed maximum age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories (Scheduled Caste, Scheuled Tribes, Physically Handicapped etc). Relaxation will be provided as per the rules of Government of India only.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a degree in any disciplines or equivalent from a recognized institute or university of India. Besides possessing this minimum educational qualification, candidates are also required to possess a speed of minimum 5000 keys depressions per hour for Data Entry Work. Possession of Computer Training Certificate from a recognized institute is also desirable for the post of Social Security Assistant in Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Application Fee:

Rs. 315 is the amount of application fee need to be submitted or paid by the General and OBC candidates. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 90 only. The application fee must be deposited in any branch of State Bank of India only. Payment of application fee should be done through the use of a payment challan only.

Selection Process:

The recruitment of eligible candidates will be made through the conduct of two different sselection stages:

i. Written Examination will be held at varioud test centres across the country (on 15 April 2012).
ii. Skill test and Speed test for Data Entry Work.
