About university:

West Bengal University of technology commonly referred to WBUT is a public state university, located in the suburban satellite township of Salt Lake City Kolkata. This university came into existence on 5 August 2000 and it start functioning from 15 January 2001, the university has 209 colleges and institute.

Paper description:

Software Engineering and total quality management paper is about designing, implementing and modifying software so that it can become of better quality, more affordable and faster to build. The important topic that covers in WBUT 4th semester paper is software life cycle, software project management, Data oriented estimation and Design objected oriented analysis & Design and the questions on software quality, different life cycle model, External quality Assurance and Final inspection, COCOMO model came regularly and these are very important for the candidates of this paper.

Paper pattern:

The paper pattern of this exam is it contain three groups A, B and C. Group A is multiple choice question group it contain 11-12 question out of which answer of any 10 have to be done another group B is a short answer type group which contain six question out of which answers of only 3 questions are compulsory and the last group C, it is a long answer type contain 5 questions out of which answer of any 3 questions are compulsory. Every set of papers are almost equal in every courses.

Time and marks allotted:

Total time allotted for completing the entire given questions is three hours and the total marks is 100 , out of which 70marks is provided by taking written examinations and the rest 30 by practical.
