The mode of education and the types of careers adopted by many of the individuals in the country has undergone significant changes over the past decade. As more and more multinational companies have come about in India, which necessitated the growth of call centers also. Since the population of India has people who have good communication skills the scope of this industry in India is growing tremendously. Apart from Indian companies, more and more foreign companies have also setup their call centers or outsource the various businesses in India also. With the advent of a globalized economy in India, more companies are expanding their business. The call centre trend was started first by the GE who had set up a call centre in 1998. Call centre as a career option has been adopted by the individuals which has immense scope even for the fresher’s.
Call centre is a prominent industry which provides in a wide range of services in the area of tele marketing, technical support, customer service etc. to the emerging business world. One of the most important aspects regarding this industry is that a large number of jobs are available which are vacant in almost all the sectors in the country. This is one of the reasons which promotes to more people opting for theses kind of jobs on a large scale. The call centers function within the country as domestic call centers and also deal with the international clients abroad. A large number of people in India adopt this job is due to the reason that they are aware of the English language which makes them eligible.

There are no formal qualifications necessary for entering in to this industry. Any candidates who have completed their school level education or graduation can opt for this job. The important aspect other than the qualifications is that they should have good communication skills which are needed for this job. No matter how many degrees you have if one is not able to cope up with the daily routines in his job with the right kind of attitude it is a total waste.
