They carefully describe these properties in terms of quantities, level of molecules and the component atoms. They measure the proportions, reaction rates and many other chemical characteristics.  With this knowledge about several chemical compositions and characteristics, Chemists also study the properties of unfamiliar compositions of substances and even create artificial substances and useful processes. The study of chemistry can be pursued at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Many universities are offering this branch of study.
