About the Institute:
Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) are generally popular and considered as an autonomous institute which mainly covers different communications, electronics and information based courses to the aspiring candidates. This autonomous body is regulated and maintained by Indian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Generally the course like C is of higher level.
Insights on the paper:
The discrete structures papers have seven questions. In which first question is compulsory which carries 28 marks and questions from 2-7 is of 18 marks and the candidates have to answer the questions accordingly and each questions have one or two sub groups. The candidates should have to abbey the instructions mentioned in question papers. Candidates are asked to answer the questions accordingly.
Book recommended for this paper:
The most valuable books for the Better level of education in discrete structure courses is mainly Vinay kumar, J.P and Manohar P, are the main books. Apart from this there are plenty of reference books which do not complete the whole syllabus but have detailed information. Many books like John Treus and M.O. Albertson etc.
Time allotment and total marks:
The appearing candidates must have to attempt the questions within three hours and the complete question set of discrete structures papers carries 100 marks.
Syllabus included in this paper:
The B level courses have full of mathematical logic like in set theory, Boolean algebra, number & graph theory and different analytical based questions. Candidates must have to clear the basic knowledge related to their syllabus. The questions are short descriptive and covers the whole part of the syllabus. The mathematical logic, set theory’s and numbering theory are generally carries high marks.
