Eligibility Requirements and Reference Books for NIMCET
Graduates seeking admission to MCA in NIT’s should necessarily qualify NIMCET. Eligible candidate should have scored at least 60% marks at 12th and graduation. Final year students having the required eligibility can also apply. Exam preparation can be done with the help of text books like A Text Book on Calculus by S. K. Goyal, Arithmetic for Competitive Examinations by Jain & Sharma, General English by Abul Hashem, MCA Entrance Test (Self Study Guide) by Amit M. Agarwal and Logical and Analytical Reasoning by A. K. Gupta.
Eligibility Criterion for NIMCET
Graduation is the basic qualification required for NIMCET. The qualification must be obtained from any of the recognized Universities with a minimum of 60% marks. Such candidates must have completed the course in any of the following subjects.

Eligible candidate should have studied mathematics as a subject at HSC level also. In this level, they should have scored an aggregate minimum of 60% marks. Final year students satisfying the above requirements are also eligible to apply.
