How to appear for HSC examination externally in Maharashtra after failing in first year diploma engineering?
My ward failed in engineering diploma first year. Hence, he lost his one year. Now can he appear externally for HSC examination in Maharashtra? He doesn’t want to continue diploma at the moment. Please guide me this regard.

He will have to get admission in class 11 and then after completion of 11th standard, he will be very much eligible to appear for entrance examination in the concluding year. If he has completed his 11th class and has failed in 12th standard, then he can also appear as a n external/private candidate, in which he will only have to appear for the examination in the concluding year. He will not have to attend classes on a regular basis.
