Is it possible to study B.Tech(Civil Engineering) through JELET for Architecture Diploma holder?


Hello,
I have completed Diploma in Architecture and looking for admission to B.Tech course in Civil Engineering through JELET. Is it possible for me?

No, its is not possible to do B.Tech in Civil Engineering after completion of Diploma in Architecture.

Those candidates who have completed diploma course in Civil Engineering from a recognized university are eligible to get admission in B.Tech course in Civil Engineering.

Your age should be above 18 years.

So you can do B.Architecture course through lateral entry exam.

No, it is not possible to study B.Tech (Civil Engineering) course after completion of your three years Diploma course in Architecture. Only candidates who have completed three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution are eligible to get admission in second year of four years B.Tech course by appearing and qualifying JELET examination. Being a Diploma holder in Architecture you are not eligible to study B.Tech (Civil Engineering) course.
