Interest rates charged by banks against Education Loan to study MBBS in AIIMS?


Hello,
I've completed my 12th in Hyderabad and I want to study MBBS in AIIMS. I'm from poor family so if I apply for Education Loan then what interest rates will be charge?

The interest rate is fixed by the Reserve Bank of India which fluctuates from time to time. The interest will be charged as simple interest for the entire study period. The interest rate fluctuates 13-14.5 percent. If you opt loan from SBI you will get one percent lesser interest rate than other banks. Apart from this, there are subsidies of various types which varies from bank to bank. You need to check this with the bank from which you will opt education loan.
