Diploma in Marine Engineering is very newly added into Diploma Engineering field, which is basically a 4 years long course, some also offers 3 years program. Since it is very new, only few institutes offers that course. And for getting that subject you must perform very well in Polytechnic Entrance.

It is adviceable not to Enroll for it direct. I mean first you have to crack entrance with flying rank, then you have to study 4 years long, then againg appear for entrance for lateral entry, then again it will take 3/ 4 years.

If your ultimate goal is Marine Engineering then better enroll for B.Tech after completing your +2.

I think going for Diploma in Marine is not a good decison, if you still want to go through Diploma then bettter switch to Diploma in Marine Engineering, ways will get easier then Diploma in Marine.

yes you can apply diploma after 10th pass out with good percentage at least 70 to 80% scored in any board. you can also apply polytechnic exam.

yes you can go for the diploma in engineering after 10th,i have listed some of the good courses below choose the one in which you are more interested....

Civil Engnieering (Droughtman).

there are many courses available but if you want to do btech after diploma then it will waste 1 more year of yours. If you do btech after doing 12th you will save 1 year.i am saying this you already have wasted 1 year so it is better not to waste more

Ya, offcourse you can do Diploma after 10th in all technical and non technical branch except Diploma in pharmacy (It requires 12).
Branches are- mech, civil, electrical, electronics, computer science, information technology, automobile engg, hotel management, textile etc. These cources are available in polytechnics.
You have to give entrance exam and then according to rank you can choose branch and college.

Any candidate those who have completed there class 10th and should have not exceeded 21 years of age are eligible to appear for Poltechnic Entrance exam conducted on state basis by respective state governments for admission into government ot government recognised Polytechnic colleges located in that state.

Besides this Candidate those who have scored 70% in Maths or Physics/Physical Science can find direct admission to course of there choice particularly in states like- West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Dehli NCR, and orissa.

hi, yes offcourse you can do diploma ,infact the minimum qualification for diploma is 10th passed from any recongnized university or equivalent..you can go for your desired branch in diploma like computers,electrical,mechanical etc ...best of luck.

yes, you can do diploma in engineering after 10th and for you have to sit for entrance exam conducted like you can get admission in polytechnic colleges through entrance-exam conducted aftyer 10th you can apply for this.
and you get admission to different trade and after the completion of this you can get admission into 2nd year as a lateral entry in engineering colleges.

Okay once again for you.

Ya, you can do diploma in engineering after 10th also there are many institutes which provide diploma courses immediately after 10th.Also many entrance exams are undertaken at district and state levels by which u can easily get admission in one of the best colleges if u pass these exams with flying colours.
The Engineering courses available right now are as follows:

Well if you have'nt appeared for Any entrance then you have done a mistake.

However, if you only want to persue Diploma Engineering and also you are within age limit of 23 years then its better to appear for entrance next time by preparing well and score well to get Government college.

But if your ultimate goal is B.Tech then its better not to wait for next year, just go to Bangalore or Bihar there you will get even direct admission based on your 10th aggregate, which should be at least 60% including science group.

Yes, you can very well do Diploma after 10th. Various departments like Electrical, Mechanical, etc are available in Diploma. Its better to enter Engineering as Lateral entry after Diploma if you wish, so that you will be more knowledgeable compared to Engineering students who completed First year. This is because Diploma students are exposed to Training and visualisation of all theory parts they come across in Diploma whereas its absent in the case of Engineering students. All the best!!!!!!!

Yes why not.............!

But there is 2 problems associated with it.

1) You have'nt crossed your age limit of 21 years before joining the classes.

2) Some State which conducts its own entrance for Admission into Diploma Engineering like- West Bengal hs very strict rule, no candidate can get admission with out appearing for JEXPO.


So, the best option in this case is go to KArnataka or Tamil Nadu. There you can find direct admission. If you have scored at least 60% aggregate in MAths and Science then you can easily get direct admission there.

But since Hardly till 10 July Classes get starts there you will find tougher now to get admission haowever, try......

its fully possible.
