Yes, you can do diploma in engineering after 10th. it will better to do it in engineering courses...because after diploma you will feel comfort in degree.. 1 year lost is not a matter..but more than 2 years is danger..because companies are giving relaxation up to 2 years.

there are many engineering courses available such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, aeronautical engineering, computer science and engineering etc. if you want to do b tech then don,t waste time in doing diploma because it will take 1 extra year. you must do 12th class and then take admission in b tech.

Its good that you want to continue your studies further. Keep it up . Ya sure you could definitely go for Diploma in engineering in any of the stream you want. The main streams which are mainly
electronics
civil engineering
Mechanical engineering
computer engineering
Chemical engineering etc. you can get admitted to it by appearing for polytechnic exams.

If you didn't had science in your 10th also than I don't think that you will be able to go for engineering. And if you want to pursue your career further in engineering better you should get 10 with science if its not too late either through NIOS or regular mode because without science you cannot go futher in this sector.

yes you can do diploma engineering after 10th in various branches like automobile,computer science,Electrical,ECE,Mechanical...etc...after that you can directly enter degree engineering into 2nd year....as lateral entry...you have to give the state JEE in order to do so...

i got passed in 10th exam with 83 percent
then i joined 11th class and due to some medical problem i did not made it to the exam hall
so now what should i do WOULD I GO AGAIN FOR 11TH AND 12TH SCIENCE EXAM OR I MUST GO FOR DIPLOMA ENGINEERING
PLEASE HELP ME OUT

Well, dear Medical Issues are the things which are just like a tornedo in life.
And I can understand your problem because I have also lost many things.

However, you seems a good student with bright Academic records, so from this point of view continuing with 11th seems good option but if you haven't settled with Medical problems or much worried then opt for Diploma.

It will take same time in both 2+4= 6 years if you are going through 11th for B.Tech.

And 3+3= 6 years if you are going through Diploma for B.Tech.

However, also get satisfied from your parents side, before taking any decision.

you can not go for a diploma in civil engineering after 10th for that you need to have passed 12th

One easily gets admission in Diploma after 10th in Banglore, as almost all private institutes of Banglore has direct facility.

For Example:- The Oxford Polytechnic (A part of Oxford Educational Institutes), I had meet some members of Governing council at an Educational Fair, and after discussion found that if one does'nt have financial crisis then its not a difficult task to get in engineering or management in karnataka, specially bangaluru.

Similarly I had also meet various Institutes of Banglore there, and settled on the same decision.

But, they all also recommended that they hardly take admission after august because classes get start. And one more problem for your son is his percentage.

Having at least 60% in 10th i s mandatory.

For Example:- Oxford has set there requirement at 70%, but also takes candidates with reletively low percentile depending upon various conditions like student of different state etc.

I dont think if it would be possible to get admission at present, however keep trying.

you can do that, but it is very hard to do that because maths is not easy, you should have the basic knowledge in mathsfrom the 11th and 12th, so that it will be very easy.

2.give upsc xam
3.have a good marks and take grade to apply in income tax officer
