Can I write UPSC Exam while in final year of Btech Engineering?

Yes You are Eligible To Apply For Civil Service Examination.

Age limits : 21 - 30.

The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree from any recognized university.

Those in the final year of a degree course can also eligible.

If you want to apply for Engineering Sevices Exam you should have an engineering degree from a recognised institute or be in their final year. A candidate should be more than 21 years and less than 30 years of age as on 1st August, 2010. There are relaxations in age limit for various reserved categories. A candidate should be medically and physically fit according to the specified requirements.

Dear aspirant,
Yes you can apply for IPS(Indian Police Service) if you are a student of final year on a provisional basis because there is a provision that final year students can appy for Civil Service Exam(IAS,IPS,IFS etc.) conducted by UPSC every year but after passing preliminary exam you should be eligible for mains only after producing degree of final year for this you should be 21 years of age.

The maximum age limit for
General is 30 years,
SC/STs is 35 years
OBC is 33 years
And minimum age limit for all is 21 years,
And other age relaxation is also available to Ex-servicemans of selected services etc
So evalute yourself on the basis of various classes of age exemptions,

you can UPSC exam in final year of B.Tech but you can extract the job after B.Tech only because the eligibility criteria for this job is graduation and age limit in between 21and 30

You want to appear in UPSC exams when you will be in final year of B.tech engineering, then you can go for it, there is nothing wrong with that..

Eligibility for UPSC exams:--------------------------

>>The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university.
>>Final year candidates are also can apply for the exam.
>>No such percentage of aggregate is required.
>>The candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.
>>The candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are requirements you have to fulfill.
So, no need to worry , you can appear in UPSC exam when you will be in final year of B.tech.
